International meeting in O Carballo (bilingual)

The first international meeting of our school took place in O Carballo in September 2012. Our school partner from the Czech Republic came over for the very first time which was a really significant event as it marked a before and an after in our centre. It was the first time our families hosted exchange students and that was the starting point to all the exchanges currently being carried out. I would like to share with you an unreleased video (hereinafter provided) mainly aimed at our Czech friends, as they were the first ones to come over here and we keep a very special memory of them. Given that these will be my last words regarding this project as it’s now drawing to a close, I’d like to take this chance out to thank again all those people who have helped and supported us, whether they were directly or indirectly involved in our task.

Thank you very much to: - The school and the school authorities for having allowed this project to be carried out - Alicia, Arantxa, Felipe, Mª Luisa Fernández, Manolo Campos, Vicente,Avelino, Ana Rifón and all the teachers who, in one way or another, eased the participation of the pupils. - All the pupils of 4th ESO, 1st and 2nd year of Bachillerato for their great welcoming attitude regarding all the new activities as well as their participation in said activities. - All the organisms, institutions and people related to the aforementioned for their support. - Yaiza Naíla T. Villarino, for her constant, selfless, and unconditional work in every single aspect concerning this project. If it hadn’t been for their help none of this would have been possible. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that we can keep on working in future projects.

Meeting internacional en O Carballo (Oleiros)

En Septiembre del 2012 se celebró en nuestro colegio de O Carballo el primer meeting internacional con alumnos de la República Checa. Este fue un acontecimiento muy significativo ya que marcó un antes y un después para nuestro centro. Era la primera vez que nuestras familias acogían a estudiantes extranjeros y ese fue el punto de partida para los intercambios que se están llevando a cabo hoy en día.

A continuación, me gustaría compartir con vosotros un vídeo inédito que va dirigido especialmente a nuestros amigos checos, ya que fueron los primeros en venir aquí y guardamos un recuerdo muy especial de ellos.
Dado que estas van a ser mis últimas palabras dentro de este proyecto que toca su fin, me gustaría darles una vez más las gracias a todas aquellas personas que han prestado su ayuda, ya estuvieran directa o indirectamente implicadas en nuestra labor.

- Todos los alumnos de 4º de ESO, 1º y 2º de Bachillerato por su acogida a todas las actividades realizadas y por su participación en las mismas.
- Todos los organismos, instituciones y personas relacionadas con ellos que nos dieron su apoyo.
- Yaiza Naíla T. Villarino, por su trabajo constante, desinteresado e incondicional en todos los sentidos a lo largo de este proyecto.
De no haber sido por su ayuda esto no habría sido posible. Crucemos los dedos y esperemos que podamos seguir trabajando en futuros proyectos.
